9:10 AM – 9:40 AM: Introduction to FME Flow Apps 

  • Overview of FME Flow and its components 
  • Types of apps (classic, AR, automation, gallery) 
  • Key features and benefits of FME Flow Apps 

9:40 AM – 10:00 AM: First App Installation and Usage 

  • Install and use your first app: send a picture, description, and location to a database for a shared map/webpage 

10:00 AM – 10:15 AM: Coffee Break 

10:15 AM – 11:00 AM: Building Your First FME Flow App 

  • Introduction to linking FME Form to Flow (workspace publication) 
  • Step-by-step guide to building a basic FME Flow App 
  • Hands-on exercise: Create a basic app (e.g., generating a logo for your organization) 

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Advanced Features and Customization 

  • Explore advanced features of FME Flow Apps (notifications, user inputs, automations, user-related parameters) 
  • Learn how to monitor usage and manage app settings (disabling apps, etc.) 
  • Customize apps for specific needs (download vs stream, markdown, file/resource management) 
  • Hands-on exercise: Enhance your basic app with advanced features 

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch Break 

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Hands-On Session: Small Apps 

  • Presentation and adaptation of up to 4 apps 
  • Group discussion to tailor apps to participants’ needs 

2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Hands-On Session: Building a Real-World App 

  • Participants choose a case study (simple AR app, automation, or a custom project) 
  • Guided session to build and customize the chosen app 
  • Facilitators provide support and guidance throughout the process 

3:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Sharing and Feedback 

  • Participants present their completed apps 
  • Peer feedback and group discussion 
  • Q&A session 

4:00 PM – 4:15 PM: Wrap-Up and Next Steps 

  • Summary of key learnings 
  • Resources for further learning 
  • Closing remarks and thank you
